BFD Steel
Double flange pressed steel reel with dimensions according to DIN standards (46395/46397) or to customer specification. The main feature of this model are the flanges made up of an internal smooth wall and of an external counter-flange with ribs. The presence of a smooth inner surface allows to obtain a reel which is robust but at the same time suitable for the winding of delicate material. The curled flange rim is suitable for the lifting of the reel by means of hooks.
This type of reel is suitable for the winding of thin wires, medium or small insulated cables (special cables, fiber optic, telephone cable, LAN cable), strands and ferrous or nonferrous cord, and can be used for one way/multiple shipping or for internal process (stranding and extrusion).
The following flange diameters are available: 400, 500, 560, 600, 630, 760, 800 and 1000 mm. The standard model is usually epoxy-painted on all surfaces, but other finishing treatments are available upon request.
